Record-breaking day at Zandvoort
The 2015 kite season in the Netherlands has started with a bang! A 45+ kt day in Zandvoort saw 25 hungry riders head out for our inaugural boosting contest powered by WOO. The solid winds and beach-break kickers set up for a perfect day to jump, and before we knew it, Gijs Wassenaar had broke the WOO Record for jump height with a 19.1m air!
Here’s how the contest went down.
– 25 riders in 5 heats of 5 riders
– 10 min per heat
– Rider with combined 4 highest jumps made it to finals
– Top jump recorded in the contest wins it!
